**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an experienced pastry supervisor to join our production team. You will help oversee and prepare a variety of baked goods. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in pastry production and baking. Candidates must speak English and spanish.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a wide variety of items such as cakes, cookies, pies, pastry following traditional and modern recipes
Decorate pastries using different icings and toppings
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc.
Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
Skills
Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
Experience as a pastry chef, baker, or a related role
Experience in a managerial or leadership role
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary
Experience baking with ingredient limitations, such as gluten-free and sugarless pastries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,284.00 - $86,003.00 per year
